The journey of cinnamon from seedling to spice begins with meticulous
planting in
Sri Lanka’s nutrient-rich soil. Initially, high-quality
cinnamon trees are carefully nurtured in ideal conditions, where they
thrive in the island’s warm, moist climate. After several years,
the trees produce aromatic bark, which is harvested with expertise.
Skilled workers then strip the bark from the branches, carefully rolling
it into quills and allowing it to dry naturally. Once dried, the cinnamon
is processed and graded to ensure its rich flavor and superior quality.
The end product is a premium spice that captures the essence of
Sri Lanka’s
